iOS 15 iPhone Photo App - ViewExif by Teresa Weaver

View more Exif data in Photos on iPhone by having View Exif App.

If you have updated to iOS 15 for the iPhone, more export options from Photos have been added. If you have the View Exif app on your phone, you can use the export button to view all the Exif data of a photograph. And you are also given Metadata export choice options from Photos. Photos taken on iPhone - How to view IMG number and some Metadata

The update to iOS 15 added a few new items to the Photos program. There is now an option to view the image number, adjust the time and date of an image, and view and adjust/delete the location data. To see these options, you have to be running iOS 15. I have an iPhone 11 Pro that is currently running iOS 15.0.2. In Photos on my phone, I often need to see the image number of a particular photograph and sometimes delete the location data from the image. Now, these two things are possible with this update to Photos. Click here for more information.

Use the View Exif app to see all Metadata and more

Would you like to remove most of the Metadata/Location information/Exif data that your iPhone captures, so you can send that photo to someone with that data removed from the file? There are a few apps available for download at the App Store to help you to do this. I have used both View Exif and Meta Remove. I will be using the iPhone app View Exif for this PDF. It currently has a one-time cost of .99 cents and it is available from the App Store. Click here for more information.
