|
|
I need a free web design software , please list any websites where I can download, it must be easy to use, and it must be able to make forms for me, I would like something that has free templates already on it and it easy to customize later.
Please tell me which ones you used in the past and how. |

|

In reading the info about iWeb, it state that one can upload a newly created web page to your account on MobileMe.
My question is: Can I also upload a new iWeb page to my domain that is hosted on a different location other than MobileMe?
Thanks _________________ TomL |

There is a topic in iWeb's help for this and I've used it:
| iWeb Help wrote: | Publishing to a server or hosting service other than MobileMe
Instead of publishing your site to MobileMe, you can publish your site to a folder on a local destination (your hard disk, for example) and then upload it to the server or hosting provider of your choice.
To publish your site somewhere other than MobileMe:
Choose File > “Publish to a Folder.”
If you have Subscribe buttons on your site, you must specify your site’s URL in the message that appears.
Choose a location to store your site, and then click Choose.
Use a File Transfer Protocol (FTP) client to upload the site folder and index file to the location of your choice. |
Rather than use FTP. I publish directly to a folder shared from my OS X Web Server, i.e. /Library/WebServer/Documents and that immediately publishes directly. Most hosting providers don't run OS X, so you have to follow the directions for using FTP or something similar. |

That is exactly what I have done in the past... FTP.
Good luck! _________________ Peace,
