Update | 11:41 a.m. Erik Parker, an American journalist who was in Haiti during the earthquake — and has filed a remarkable series of updates on Twitter and photographs on TwitPic — has uploaded raw video to YouTube, including shots moments after the disaster struck.  The video was shot on his iPhone.

WARNING – much of Parker’s iPhone video includes horrific detail of the damage – both to people and buildings.

Update | 20:36 p.m. DigiCell of Haiti reports that three main switching centers are operational, many towers are down, but most vital text and phone messages are getting through.  Many reporters on the scene are using iPhones to file text, images, and video to their news agencies.
