Monthly Meetings  |
General club meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM in Room 3.106 of the University of Texas Pharmacy building near the corner of Dean Keeton and University Avenue. This excellent meeting facility features state of the art audio and video projection systems, plus internet access in a tiered classroom complete with power outlets for your portable Macintosh! Our monthly meetings include a question and answer session, great presenters, plus door prizes and a great raffle for members, and the nicest Mac friends you could ever hope to meet. CapMac Online Forums  |
Our group was originally founded with a dial-up BBS (Bulletin Board System) as a central benefit, providing a place for Mac users to download software updates and discuss everything about Macs and more online. Now our internet accessible online services provide forums for you to seek help, provide assistance, learn about the best deals, and share stories 24 hours a day. |

Substantial discounts and special deals are available exclusively to CapMac members from several merchants and services. These special offers are listed in the CapMac Forums, and updated each month. Members and nonmembers alike can see the deals, but the actual ordering information is only accessible in the members-only area of our Forums. Special Interest Groups (also known as "SIGs") are geared to provide learning experiences in small groups for personalized assistance and friendly collaboration. CapMac offers several Special Interest Groups, and encourages you to participate! Our Beginners and Switchers SIG holds monthly classes on a number of topics to help newcomers to the Mac get comfortable. We also have SIGs devoted to FileMaker Pro, Programming, Web Development, and Final Cut Pro and Express, with more to come! |
