CapMac General Meeting, 13 October 2009
October’s general meeting will feature presentations by two software companies: Cultured Code and Kerlmax.

Cultured Code will be demonstrating their award winning task management software Things. Things won the Best of Show award at the 2009 MacWorld Expo in San Francisco and a 2009 Apple Design Award at the Mac OS X Leopard Showcase at Apple’s World Wide Developer Conference (WWDC) also held in San Francisco. Things is also available for the iPhone and iPod Touch giving users the ability to sync their to-do’s and projects. Things increases its versatility with system wide integration to Mac OS X’s iCal, iChat, Mail and Address Book services.

The meeting will also feature Austin based software developer Isaac Wankerl of Kerlmax showing his newest application, the screenshot utility Sharpshooter. Kerlmax also produces the iPhone app Austin Traffic, which utilizes several resources, including TxDOT’s traffic cameras, to provide up to the minute info on accidents in the Austin area so you can plan your route accordingly.
